Once upon a time there was a grandmother who ended up with purple hair. How this came to be, she did not know, but I do. There was a potion mix up instigated by nefarious bust-a-bouts who infiltrated the hairdresser's shop and stole some of her pigment brews. They replaced the bottle (so as to go unnoticed) with their own odorous and foul concoction, which resulted in the unfortunate circumstance of purple hair. We fairies went to battle in our bright fairie armor and acorn helmets, our standard flapping boldly in the air to avenge and defend her. I was especially forefront in the fighting and gave them what for! We returned victorious, yet there was nothing that could be done about the color of her hair, and she became known as The Purple Grandmother. This title was given because of her great insight and understanding of the fairy realm and magic. She was one born with the gift of true sight.
